Affiliate Disclosure

How this site is funded, in plain language.

In short: if you book a tour or a hotel through a link on this site, we may earn a commission. You pay exactly the same price. Nobody pays us for a good review, and nothing on this site is a paid placement.

Who we work with

GetYourGuide. Every tour and ticket on AitBenhaddou.com is booked through GetYourGuide, and we are a registered affiliate partner. When you book after clicking one of our links, GetYourGuide pays us a percentage of their commission. Your price is unchanged.

Trip.com. Accommodation links on our where to stay page go to Trip.com. Where an affiliate relationship is in place, we may earn a commission on completed stays, again at no additional cost to you.

What this does and does not change

  • It does not change your price. Affiliate commission comes out of the platform’s margin, not your booking.
  • It does not buy a ranking. No operator, guesthouse or hotel can pay to appear on this site or to be ranked higher on it.
  • It does not stop us being critical. We say when a tour is rushed, when a hotel is dated, and when the free option is better than the paid one.
  • It does fund the site. Research, hosting and keeping prices current are paid for entirely by these commissions. There is no advertising.

How we choose what to recommend

Tours are ranked on time at the site, quality of guiding, value for money and what reviewers say afterwards — in that order. Ratings and review counts are taken directly from GetYourGuide and re-checked regularly. Accommodation is selected on guest scores, location relative to the ksar and price, using data from Trip.com.

When a product’s rating falls or it stops being good value, it comes off the list. That has happened, and it will happen again.

Prices and accuracy

All prices shown on this site are indicative starting prices and can change at any time. The price you see on the booking platform at the moment of purchase is the one that applies. We check prices regularly but cannot guarantee them.
